Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Ledger mobile application and the ledgerapp.uk website (together, the "Service"; also "we" and "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. What Ledger is — and is not

Ledger is an informational sports companion. It shows live football scores, statistics, model-derived ratings and strategy signals together with a public, auditable record of how those signals settled — wins and losses alike.

• Ledger is not a bookmaker or gambling operator. You cannot place bets, deposit or withdraw money, or wager anything within the Service.
• Nothing in the Service is betting or financial advice, a tip, or a recommendation to bet. Content is informational only.
• We do not promise wins. Historical results, ratings and statistics do not predict future outcomes. Any decisions you make — including betting decisions with third parties — are entirely your own responsibility.

2. Age requirement

The Service is strictly for users aged 18 or over. If you are under 18 you must not use the Service.

3. Responsible gambling

If you choose to gamble with third-party operators, please do so responsibly. Free, confidential help is available from BeGambleAware, GamCare and GAMSTOP (self-exclusion).

4. Subscriptions

• Optional PRO features are offered as an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple's App Store. Prices are shown before purchase.
• Where a free trial is offered, we tell you its length up front and send a reminder before it ends. The subscription starts only after the trial unless cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time in your App Store subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

5. Accuracy of data

Scores, fixtures, odds snapshots and statistics come from third-party data providers and automated models. We work to keep them accurate and timely but cannot guarantee they are error-free or uninterrupted. The published signal record reflects our system's own logged entries and settlement rules.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including scraping or bulk-harvesting data, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, or using it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend access that breaches these terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, and its content (excluding third-party data) are owned by Ledger. Club and league names appearing in live data belong to their respective owners; Ledger is not affiliated with or endorsed by any club, league or governing body.

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for losses arising from use of the Service, including any wagering losses incurred with third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be signposted in the app or on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
