FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
Is Ledger a betting app?+
No. Ledger is an informational football companion: fixtures, live scores, team ratings, projected goals and rule-based in-play signals. You cannot place a bet, deposit or withdraw money in Ledger. Nothing in it is betting advice.
What is a signal?+
A signal is a note that a pre-defined, rule-based strategy's conditions were met during a match — for example a favourite trailing at a given minute. Every strategy's rules are frozen before it goes live, and every signal is settled and kept on the record afterwards, wins and losses alike.
Is Ledger free?+
Yes. Fixtures, live scores, ratings, projections and settled signals are free. PRO adds real-time signal alerts, the evidence behind every signal, full signal history and an unlimited bet journal.
Who is it for?+
Adults (18+) who follow football closely and want the numbers behind a match presented plainly. If gambling stops being fun, BeGambleAware, GamCare and GAMSTOP offer free, confidential help.
Can I place a bet in Ledger?+
No. Ledger is not a bookmaker and has no wagering, deposits or withdrawals. Any decision you make with a third-party operator is entirely your own.
Does the record predict future results?+
No. The record shows how past signals settled under fixed rules. It is not independently verified and says nothing about future outcomes.
How do I cancel PRO?+
If you subscribed in the app, cancel in your Apple subscription settings — one tap from the app's subscription screen too. If you subscribed on ledgerapp.uk, use the manage link in your Paddle receipt or email support@ledgerapp.uk.
I bought PRO on the website. How do I use it in the app?+
Open the app, go to Settings → Sign in, and enter the email you used at checkout. We send a 6-digit code; once verified, PRO unlocks on that device.
What data do you collect?+
No account is required to use the app. Product analytics are tied to a random device identifier; your journal stays on your phone. If you sign in to restore a web subscription, we store your email and the device link. See the privacy policy.
